What this site is

Horsey Time Deluxe lets you design a pixel-art horse (a "sprite"), submit it to race against other players' horses, and vote for your favorite in the daily Popular Sim. This page explains what information we collect while you do that, and how third-party advertising on the site works.

Information we collect

• Sprite submissions. The pixel art you design, the name you give it, and (if you provide one) a display username and social team affiliation. These are public by design once approved — they appear in the gallery, leaderboard, and race broadcasts.
• Votes.When you vote for a sprite in the daily Popular Sim, we store a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address (combined with a private server-side salt) — never the raw IP itself — solely to enforce one vote per person per day. That hash can't be reversed back into an IP address.
• Basic server logs.Like virtually every website, our hosting providers (Vercel for the site, DigitalOcean for race rendering) generate standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention. We don't use these for tracking or advertising.

We don't require an account or collect email addresses to use the site.

Advertising & cookies

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
